An Australian girl with tangled hair syndrome, The Dandelion Girl, captivates her looks. It’s all because of a very uncommon genetic mutation that changes the structure of the hair.
Shila Kalvert-In, an Australian, is already known as an Instagram celebrity at the age of 10. Her hair starts to become dry, straight, and very unmanageable.
Observations have shown that the tangled hair problem can start in early infancy and subside entirely or partially after puberty. There have been about a hundred occurrences of this oddity in all, while some experts believe the mutation may be more widespread than others.

It’s interesting to note that this structural flaw mainly affects individuals with very blond hair. In the little girl’s personal tale, her parents provide subscribers with images of the youngster as well as their thoughts and advice on how to handle Shila’s “mane of a lion.”

The infant had black hair when they were born, but after a few weeks, weird, colorless spikes started to appear; these spikes couldn’t be combed and just stuck out in all directions. They gradually transformed the infant’s black fluff, giving it the appearance of a dandelion in bloom. It’s important to note that the girl’s hair grew up to the age of two, after which it remained the same length.

When other kids started noticing her hair at age four, she became aware of her “special” haircut. She never felt inferior because she loved and believed in herself. Instead, she views herself as exceptional, like a wonderful unicorn.
