Kelly Preston, John Travolta’s late wife, died two years ago. Preston died after a long battle with breast cancer.

Travolta, on the other hand, has opened up about his rehabilitation path and has begun to make plans for new ventures.

Kelly Preston and John Travolta’s love affair began in 1989, when they met at a screen test for their comedy series “The Experts.”
Travolta has long stated that their relationship was love at first sight, but when talk show host Andy Cohen asked Preston on “Watch What Happens Live,” she replied, “Kinda.” Preston was still married to Kevin Cage, whom she divorced after only two years of marriage.

Following her divorce, she remarried George Clooney, but the relationship ended in 1989. Preston later married Charly Sheen in 1990. Travolta wasted no time in making Preston his while he was single.
The pair fell in love instantly and married in a private ceremony on September 5, 1991, at the Hotel de Crillon in Paris. Travolta married Preston while she was two months pregnant with their son, Jett.

Travolta and Preston were married for 28 years. The pair were still madly in love and grateful to have had each other through the ups and downs of their relationship. In 2005, Travolta stated that counseling was the only thing that saved his marriage.

Travolta stated that his son has revealed his dread of death following his mother’s death.
For twelve years, the actor and his wife, Preston, went to therapy every six months, according to the actor. During their marriage, the couple produced three children: Jett, who died when he was 16 years old; Ella Bleu, 22, and Benjamin, 11.

Preston died at the age of 57 following a two-year battle with breast cancer. Travolta, her husband, revealed her death in a poignant Instagram post. ‘

The actor begged for solitude to grieve his wife and took a break from acting to focus on himself and his two children’s rehabilitation. Travolta stated:

“It is with great sadness that I inform you that my lovely wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer.” I’ll be spending some time with my children who have lost their mother, so please excuse me if you don’t hear from us for a bit.”

Travolta’s son Benjamin was just nine years old when his mother died. On Kevin Hart’s talk program “Heart to Hart,” the actor from “Pulp Fiction” conducted an honest dialogue with his 10-year-old kid about mortality.
Travolta stated that his son has revealed his dread of death following his mother’s death. “Because mom died, I’m afraid you’re going to,” Benjamin confessed to his father.

Travolta, who has also experienced the loss of a child, was open about the unpredictability of death. “I said, ‘Well, it’s a very different thing,'” the actor told his son. And I considered the disparities between my long life and her short existence.”

“I said, ‘Ben, you have always loved the truth, and I’m going to tell you the truth about life,” the father of three said in an attempt to calm his son’s anxieties. Nobody knows when they will go or when they will return.”

Ella Travolta, Travolta’s daughter, paid a touching homage to her father on his first Father’s day following the passing of his wife. Ella has also continued in her parents’ footsteps, having worked with celebrities such as Morgen Freeman.

The actress captioned a photo of her father’s days with:

“Happy Father’s Day to the smartest, kindest, most generous man I know,” says one. “You have taught me the most important lessons in life simply by being yourself.” Thank you for being my buddy and for everything you do. “Daddy, I adore you.”

It’s been two years since actress Preston died, and Travolta is selling their Maine vacation house. According to reports, the star listed the 20-bedroom property he purchased with his late wife as newlyweds in 1991.
The pair traveled to the 10,830-square-foot coastal mansion to unwind and spend quality time with each other and their family. Travolta, on the other hand, is attempting to move on and resume his new normal life.

Travolta shared openly about his sorrowful experience in 2021. In the beginning, the “Grease” star claimed he felt like he was sinking into everyone’s misery, so he realized he needed to find a place where he could mourn and heal his anguish without interruption.
Travolta stressed that the road of healing and “crying for someone’s” death is a personal one that affects everyone differently. The actor also offered words of wisdom to individuals who had suffered a significant loss. According to Travolta:

“The most important thing you can do to help someone else who is grieving is to let them experience it without interfering with yours.”

The “Pulp Fiction” actor has relocated to Florida. The mansion is a pilot’s fantasy, located in the Jumbolair Aviation Estate residential airpark. It covers 9.5 acres and has two airplane parking pavilions.

There are five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a pool, and an indoor cabana in the Florida mansion. Travolta and his late wife, Preston, bought this house in 2001, making them one of the first celebrity couples to acquire an airplane-friendly property.

The Golden Globe winner has begun production on a new movie, which will be shot mostly in Columbus, Georgia. The title of the film has not yet been revealed, but Travolta will collaborate with filmmaker Randall Emmett.
