LOOKS AMAZING! Step-by-step guide to creating beautiful flowers from plastic bottles for your garden

Creating a blooming garden year-round is easily achievable using regular plastic milk bottles. From them, you can craft large white flowers resembling lilies, which will decorate the garden from the early spring days until late autumn.

For making these flowers, only the upper parts of the bottles are needed. The cut-off cups can serve as convenient containers for growing seedlings.

Each artificial flower consists of two upper parts of the bottles, cut with a 3-4 cm size difference. Each piece is cut vertically at equal distances from the other. The smaller part is divided into six segments with shallower cuts, while the larger part is divided into twelve sections with cuts closer to the bottle’s neck.

Then, the edges of the segments are carefully trimmed to form petals.

Next, unfold both pieces. The outer circle forms the larger petals, which should be bent outward. The second piece’s longer petals are bent toward the center.

The flower’s base is glued, ensuring additional stability at the point of connection.

To create the pistil, use a drinking straw. After determining the required length, cut it with an extra length for securing. One side of the straw is sliced into thin strips to form stamens, while the other side is cut for gluing.

A wire is threaded through two holes made in the bottle cap to create a stem, which is then wrapped with green tape, and the cap is secured to the flower.

The pistil is inserted into the flower and fixed on the top part of the cap, while the stamens are enhanced with dark nail polish.

Placing the finished flowers around the garden gives it a unique look, whether displayed individually or grouped in compositions.
