Meghan Trainor shares a new photo of her breast lift and implants, describing how they finally gave her the ‘boobs of her dreams’

Meghan Trainor’s breast augmentation took a considerable amount of time to achieve.

The Grammy winner, 31, reveals that she had been thinking about getting plastic surgery since she was a teenager, but it wasn’t until she was in her 30s and had completely settled into herself that she felt ready to obtain the breasts she had always desired.

But she didn’t decide this easily.

“I have never been more comfortable in my body,” she tells PEOPLE of her present stage of life. “Maybe it’s because I’m in my thirties now and feeling better. I’ve been seeing a therapist for a long time, hoping to rewire my brain to love myself more. I constantly strive to improve, which is why I write songs such as ‘I love myself,’ as it’s a constant process I’m engaged in, and I observe my fans pursuing similar goals. So that is how we connect.”

She realized she was ready to convert her breasts into something she was thrilled about after feeling like she’d rounded a corner and being incredibly unhappy with how they looked and felt. Trainor wants breasts that she would be delighted to see in the mirror every day.

The “Whoops” singer began researching plastic surgeons for breast lifts since, she claims, her breasts were “always saggy” and grew much more so following weight fluctuations and having two children (boys Riley, 4, and Barry, 19 months). She also hoped to get tiny implants to make her breasts larger.

Trainor went to Beverly Hills, Calif.-based cosmetic surgeon Dr. Payman Danielpour for a breast augmentation in early 2025, and she received the Motiva SmoothSilk Ergonomix 290 micro implants, which she refers to as “cutie booties.”

Trainor describes how she received a “full anchor, the areola down the center and underneath because I needed a lift, as well as an implant, so that I could have any shape.” Previously, they were just empty, varying sizes, and felt like skin on me. “There was not much breast tissue.”

She’s already totally recovered after only a few weeks, but the night before her operation, she had one final emotional moment with her previous chest.

“I cried and said, ‘You guys bullied me.'” You didn’t create much milk for me or my infants. I constantly duct-taped you to my chin. I love you and appreciate everything you’ve done for me, but I’m also saying goodbye.” “It was dramatic, and I started crying,” she says.

Days before this, Trainor revealed that she was feeling “so ready” because every time she looked in the mirror, her breasts didn’t seem like hers.

“I would look at them and say, ‘Those aren’t mine. This is very strange.” Take these off,” she says.

She accomplished this with the support of Dr. Danielpour and Motiva.

What sold her on Motiva and Dr. Danielpour was the implant’s safety and the doctor’s attention. According to research, a Motiva implant, which is actually designed to imitate the sensation of a natural breast, has a high safety profile with fewer than 1% device-related complication rates. She found the odds appealing.

Furthermore, she claims Dr. Danielpour was “so kind and gentle” with her from the time they met.

“It’s so important to find a surgeon who has the best attitude and who is the kindest—and who you feel comfortable being fully naked with,” she writes. “It was a big decision, but I felt like I was simply doing it for me. “This was my gift to myself.”

Trainor claims that her rehabilitation in the days and weeks after her operation was relatively straightforward; nonetheless, she had to find out how to explain to her children why she was in such a delicate position. She was wearing a surgical bra to protect her chest and couldn’t lift them for a while. She also did not want them to notice any “boo-boos.”

“I would tell them, ‘Soft, gentle hugs for mama,'” she recalls. “They got it.”

Aside from that, she claims she didn’t feel any discomfort and is currently only putting scar tape around her new areolas. She and her husband, Daryl Sabara, are quite pleased with the sensation of her new “perky” breasts.

“This morning, we tested them. [Daryl] was caressing them in a non-sexual way, grasping them and saying, ‘These are beautiful.’ And I was like, “Do they feel real?” “For real, real?” And he was like, “Yes, dude.” They feel fantastic. They’re soft yet solid, and they stay up when I sleep down. And it’s all owing to Motiva’s Ergonomix. They are the first of their type, and they are so natural. They stay perky when I lie down. “It is unbelievable,” she says.

The next item on her to-do list is to get new clothing because her current ones do not fit properly. Trainor suddenly recognized that she had been hiding her chest for a long time because she was uncomfortable with the way it looked—and her closet was filled with large hoodies. Now that she’s feeling better psychologically, she wants to show off her physique as well.

Having the breasts she’s always desired allows the singer to tap into a more feminine part of herself, which she enjoys.

“I’ve noticed that my new boobies are really helping,” she tells me. “I always remind myself, ‘Girl, I am a female.’ “Check out these boobies.’ I feel so girly, and I adore it, and it gives me so much confidence. It’s the finest decision I’ve ever made.” And I smile every time I shower.”

Sabara believes it’s one of the finest moves she’s ever made since he enjoys seeing her happy, she adds. She gushes about her spouse of seven years’ support during the process, although she knows her plastic surgery will benefit him as well.

“He realizes it was all about me. From the first encounter, I was thinking, “This has nothing to do with you.” She responds, “These are my boobies for me.” ” He was like, “Do whatever makes you happy. What a delight for me, as well. I’m really supportive.’ I said, ‘I bet you are, buddy.'”

Trainor is looking forward to donning new performance clothes and happily living in her new body, and she also wants to stand in solidarity with anybody considering breast augmentation. She supports you, whether you get plastic surgery or not. She only wants you to feel satisfied with your physique.

“It can help your confidence so much if you want—or you’re beautiful and perfect as you are, whatever makes you happiest,” according to her. “These are the boobs of my dreams.”
