Missing man on the Stairway to Heaven hiking route captured photo that may explain why he is missing…

When Daylenn Pua went missing in February 2015, he was trekking up the Haiku Stairs, often known as the ‘Stairway to Heaven’ in Hawaii.

During WWII, the steps were erected to enable access to US Navy communication installations on the island of Oahu.

This was built in response to worry about Hawaii following the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, which drew the United States into the war.

The conflict may be gone, but the 3,922 stairs remain, although hikers are not permitted to climb them.

However, daring individuals, including Pua, continue to try the stairs.

Pua was talking to his grandma about his plans to try the stairwell. His grandma, on the other hand, cautioned him not to go since the trail was closed to the general public.

There was also a fine in place for anyone who got caught on the route.

But, like many others who tried the journey, Pua was undeterred and started on February 27th, 2015.

He started up the stairwell, and despite emailing his family images of the vista and landscape, he was never seen again.

When Pua did not come home, a massive search party, including US naval drones, was organized to find him.

The images he had sent to his family while on the walk were among the proof.

This is where things start to become strange.

Because when you zoom in on the photographs, you can see a human, or something, crouched down in the foliage.

It is unknown who this individual was or why they were in that spot.

It may be something as benign as a fellow hiker peeing in the woods, but it could also indicate something much more sinister.

There’s no mistake about it either; there’s a crouched figure in the images.

Pua has been gone for seven years, and what happened to him is still unknown.

Because he was never located, no one knows if he is alive or dead or what caused his death.

However, it was difficult to remain unnerved by the thought of the enigmatic figure following him up the stairwell on a walk he would never return from.

Could it be connected to his disappearance?
