Only persons with ‘sniper vision’ can detect the stone in the photo of coffee beans in less than 10 seconds

I despise these types of exams… yet, in all honesty, I can’t avoid them because my misguided mind believes that if you’re drafted, you need to know if you’ll be a sharpshooter. God knows why I am like that, but I know I am not alone! A Reddit brainteaser featuring an image of an industrial-sized coffee grinder with millions of beans inside has gone viral, as a stone has managed to make its way in—but where?

If you discover the small pebble within 10 seconds, you have ‘sniper vision’, as it is so effectively hidden that many people have had difficulty finding it. The ‘FindTheSniper’ subreddit, where users post photographs of ‘camouflage hidden in plain sight’, received the shot.

In response to the ‘Find the Pebble in This Coffee’ article, one person remarked, “Oh hell no.” Another person responded, saying, “I agree. I’m not going to break my head trying to find it.” On social media, a third person wrote, “Some people just want to watch the world burn.” But… it is there to be seen, even in ‘plain sight’, but you’d have to zoom in quite a bit to notice it—as I did only after discovering the solution. “I discovered it in less than ten seconds! One user commented, “I never locate them, even the easy ones!” A second person stated, “Left side. Observe the position of the beans on the pole, making sure to slightly lower them. Something white, resembling a tooth, is present. Another person stated, “I discovered it on the left side.” I have God’s hyperfocus.” If you enjoyed that one, be prepared to discover more stealthy snipers. In reality, a photographer recently captured a shot of a lethal sniper hiding from his target, almost undetectable to the untrained eye.

Photographer Simon Menner captured examples of this in his ‘Camouflage’ series, documenting a variety of situations with one element in common: each shot featured a disguised sniper. Can you identify the sniper in each photo? Menner’s website description for his series reads: “Even though they are unseen owing to their expertise, there are concealed snipers in each of these photographs. They aim their snipers not only at the camera but also at the spectator.

Menner was able to obtain the photographs thanks to the German, Lithuanian, and Latvian armies, which provided him with ‘full access to their snipers’.
Happy hunting!
