It’s been 12 years since Paul Potts stunned the world on Britain’s Got Talent.

The first champion of the talent show has advanced to the final of the worldwide version of the competition, America’s Got Talent: The Champions.

Paul’s incredible operatic voice wowed many admirers once more last night (January 21), as he breezed through the opening round of the event.

His performance of ‘Caruso’ impressed the ‘superfans, a panel comprised of one AGT fan from each US state, who voted for him to advance to the final, where he will face fellow BGT icon Susan Boyle.
