Viewers watching the 97th Academy Awards can’t believe Mick Jagger is so elderly after making a surprise cameo on Sunday (March 2).
The 97th Academy Awards, presented today at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, will award several Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Director, and Best Supporting Actor.
Conan O’Brien, a comedian and former talk show presenter, is presenting, and his opening sketch sparked some criticism.
Aside from that, Jagger made a rare public appearance on stage, and many Oscar viewers are surprised to learn that the English artist is 81.
“Mick Jagger is still a top rock star. “That man is 81 years old,” one user wrote on Twitter.
A second added, “Is Mick Jagger really 81 years old?” “He looks amazing!” A third individual commented, “Mick Jagger looks quite impressive for his age of 81.”

Jagger earned a standing ovation after taking the stage at the Oscars, demonstrating the Englishman’s immense popularity in the United States even today.
“Mick Jagger Just Made My Night,” another fan wrote on social media.
Meanwhile, a fan said, “Standing ovation for Mick Jagger at the #Oscars simply for being Mick Jagger.” I stood up at home, gasped in disbelief, and cheered. A LEGEND.
On Saturday (March 2), the Rolling Stones singer attended a pre-Oscars dinner party at the Beverly Hills Hotel’s Polo Lounge in Los Angeles with his girlfriend Melanie Hamrick, 37.
Hamrick, a former professional ballerina, and Jagger, the singer of ‘Satisfaction,’ have been dating since 2014.
It is well established that the two met backstage at a Rolling Stones concert in Tokyo in 2014, while the dancer was also touring Japan with American Ballet Theatre.

Despite originally having a platonic connection, the music business veteran and Hamrick eventually began dating before welcoming their only son, Deveraux ‘Devi’ Octavian Basil Jagger, in 2016.
Deveraux is the choreographer’s first child and the ‘Gimme Shelter’ hitmaker’s seventh.
Hamrick has previously mentioned the difference in age between the couple.
When asked how it feels to be 44 years younger than Jagger, Hamrick told The Sunday Times that he doesn’t think about it.
“Everyone is going to have an opinion. If you consider other people’s perspectives, no matter where you are in life, you will encounter an issue and evaluate it.”
“I put blinders on. Am I happy? Yes. Is everyone in my life happy? Yes. Am I injuring anyone? No. Okay, they may keep their own business.”
