We questioned President Donald Trump about the situation between French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron, in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The event made international headlines, so the American president undoubtedly viewed a few of them.
At a White House news conference, President Donald Trump faced questions about the incident involving his French colleague, Emmanuel Macron.
The event in question occurred during the French premier’s official visit to Hanoi, Vietnam. As the plane doors opened, Macron was seen being pushed in the face by his wife, Brigitte Macron.
A video of the event quickly went viral, with the French President’s staff describing it as a ‘joke.’
However, when asked about the problem, President Trump did not hesitate to weigh in. When a reporter asked him for marriage suggestions for the Macrons, Trump answered, “Make sure the door remains closed.” That wasn’t beneficial.” Everyone in attendance laughed as he made a statement on the matter.

As the laughter faded, Trump provided an update on the pair, stating that he had spoken with the French President and could report that he and his wife were doing well.
“They’re two really good people,” Trump remarked, adding that while he wasn’t sure what happened between them, he was confident they were doing well.
While the news conference carried on without much further ado, individuals responded to the president’s remarks online. “That’s amusing, but sound advice.” Keep the door closed,” one person wrote on X. “That was the best response,” another said. Another individual commented, “I don’t care who you are…that’s funny!!!”.
People from all over the world have been discussing the tragedy, shocked by its unfolding. While the French president has publicly said that it was meant in fun and is being blown out of proportion.
The president regained his calm soon following the event. As he descended the steps to depart the plane, he seemed to extend his arm to Brigitte, who decided to grip the railing for support instead.
The situation around the video seemed to have eased down, but President Trump still had some ‘advice’ for his pal. What do you think of his views about the incident? Please let us know in the Facebook comments area.
