Red State wants “In God We Trust” to be displayed in every public school

Another state has enacted legislation aimed at steering classrooms away from what some perceive as woke ideology and fringe theories towards a more values-centric environment. Louisiana has introduced a law, HB 8, that requires the display of “In God We Trust” in every public classroom. The law came into effect in time for the upcoming school year, outlining specific guidelines for the size and composition of the display.

According to the legislation, each public school classroom in Louisiana is mandated to display the national motto. The law provides clear standards, specifying that the display should be on a poster or framed document that is at least eleven inches by fourteen inches. The motto should be the central focus, printed in a large, easily readable font.

This move is seen by some as a step toward bringing a more God-centered atmosphere to public classrooms and setting standards to ensure compliance with the display of the national motto. It addresses concerns about teachers taking liberties with classroom decorations and materials, offering a framework to uphold the display of “In God We Trust” in Louisiana schools.
