Sharon Osbourne says she’s ‘under 100 lbs. ‘ After using Ozempic, ‘I’m too gaunt’

Sharon Osbourne is speaking out about her use of Ozempic for weight loss.

The 71-year-old Talk UK anchor claimed to the Daily Mail that she now weighs less than 100 pounds thanks to Ozempic, an FDA-approved prescription drug for people with type 2 diabetes.

It’s one of the brand names for semaglutide, also known as Wegovy, a drug that works in the brain to influence satiety and is the current Hollywood weight reduction craze.

“I’m too thin, and I can’t put on any weight.” I want to because I think I’m too thin. “I’m under 100 pounds, and I don’t want to be,” she told the publication. “Be careful what you wish for.”

“I started on Ozempic last December, and I’ve been off it for a while now, but my warning is don’t give it to teenagers; it’s just too easy,” she went on to say. “It’s very easy to become addicted to losing weight, which is very dangerous.” I couldn’t stop losing weight, and now I’m down 42 pounds and can’t afford to lose any more.”

Despite losing more weight than intended, Osbourne seems unconcerned about what detractors could say about her new look, saying she’s “paid a fortune to try and look attractive.”

“I don’t care what people say about the way I look,” she told the publication. “I’m aware that I appear gaunt, and I’m aware of everything that goes with it.” And I completed it.”

Osbourne originally stated in September that she feared she dropped too much weight while competing in the Olympics.

“I didn’t want to be so thin.” “It just happened,” she remarked on Piers Morgan Uncensored, with husband Ozzy, 74, and children Jack, 38, and Kelly, 39. (The couple also has a 40-year-old daughter named Aimee.)

“You can’t stay on it forever,” she told me back then. “I’ve lost 42 pounds now, and it’s just enough.”

The Osbourne matriarch told Morgan that “it’s just time to stop” losing weight, especially after experiencing nausea from the weekly injections.

“You don’t throw up physically, but you have that feeling,” she went on to say. “I was feeling nauseous for about two to three weeks.” You get extremely thirsty and refuse to eat. That is why I believe you should keep this information away from children. They’ll go crazy about it, and that’s not proper.”
