Simon Cowell is well-known for running Britain’s Got Talent. His caustic wit and venomous tongue frequently fluster contestants, causing them to perform poorly. But here’s a terrific video that suggests Simon may have finally found his equal.

At first glance, it is clear that Immi Davis is nine years old. She’s rather bashful and reserved. She immediately warms up, though, and even flashes Simon a cheeky smile as she answers his questions. When she says she’ll be singing “I Put a Spell on You” by Screaming Jay Hawkins, Simon and the other judges are doubtful. After all, she’s just nine. Simon inquires as to why, and she replies, “It’s because I’ve been practicing it.” Touché, Simon!
