When a single father comes home early from a business trip and discovers twin newborns on his daughter’s bed, he is shocked. When she comes home, he confronts her about what’s going on and discovers something shocking. Stanley raised his daughter, Phoebe, on his own when his wife, Martha, died of cancer. Phoebe was just eight years old when Martha abandoned them, and Stanley found it difficult to raise a daughter while working full-time!

“I’m sorry for leaving something on your shoulders that should have been my responsibility, but please do me a favor.” While Stanley was in Paris, the conference was quickly postponed from a four-day event to a three-day event, causing him to return home a day earlier than expected.
He knew Phoebe would be at school when he arrived home, so he made her a special lunch before she arrived. However, when he sat on the sofa, he heard a baby crying from upstairs, where Phoebe’s room was.

“Stop talking and tell me what those babies are doing in your room.” And why aren’t you in school right now?” He questioned fiercely, and for the first time, he observed concern in Phoebe’s eyes. “Dad!” he said. Please unwind! “Please allow me to explain everything!” “Exactly what I’m hoping for.” GIVE ME A CORRECT REASON OR—” “All right, all right, relax!” Okay, let me just check on the infants, and then we can talk. And, yeah, please accompany me to my room. “I have something I need to show you.”
Stanley followed Phoebe as she dashed upstairs to the babies. When the infants were finally calm, Phoebe raced to her closet and scribbled something down. “Please read this, Dad. I’m sorry for putting something that should have been my responsibility on your shoulders, but please do me a favor and look after my kids.” Because I am unable to provide a nice life for the children, I am abandoning them here. They’re twins, and I’d like it if you could refer to them as Ryan and Peter. Thank you a lot.”
“What exactly is this?” Stanley looked at her, puzzled. “Did you just bring another person’s babies home?” “They were abandoned, dad.” I discovered them in a stroller next to a park on my way home two days ago. Thank goodness I found the message and took it home before it got into the hands of the wrong people. And I just missed two days of school to care for children, so don’t worry about missing classes!”
During the adoption process, Stanley met a volunteer named Brooke, and they fell in love. “All right then,” Stanley responded, dialing 911 and telling the officers everything. He also asked if he could foster the infants until their families could be discovered, and they gladly agreed to do so after paperwork verification. While the twins were residing at Stanley and Phoebe’s residence, the investigators attempted to locate their relatives but were unsuccessful.
After a few months, the detectives dropped the case, and Stanley, who had become fond of Ryan and Peter, adopted them. However, it was not the end of the tale.
