Soldier goes to order Taco Bell meal and comes to halt as he hears two boys behind him…

Two young boys, ages 9 and 13, from Fort Benning, Georgia, wanted to help raise funds for their church so that it could help others in need. So, while doing a bake sale, the lads walked to a local Taco Bell and inquired if anyone wanted to buy their goodies. But something about those guys drew Army Lieutenant Colonel Robert Risdon’s attention.

They both seemed to be quite chilly and wet in the rain. As a result, he inquired whether they had eaten yet. When they responded no, he told them to accompany him to the counter, where he bought them some food. Someone at the restaurant videotaped the scene and shared it online, adding, “I had to video it and share.” Our military is always looking after us.”

I had to catch it and share it, said the individual who videotaped and posted the scene in the restaurant. Our military is always on the lookout for us.

After eating, the small youngster, who was just nine years old, turned to the lieutenant colonel and said and did something that made everyone’s heart melt.

When I grow up, I want to be just like you, he added. He then bowed to the soldier. Lt. Col. Risden most likely did not expect that. I’m confident he won’t forget it.
