Witnessing two people in love begin their lives together and say ‘I do’ is always a joy.

The guests anticipated having a good time at the wedding of US Marine Corps Sergeant Joshua Newville and senior airman Emily Leehan, but little did they realize that they would witness one of the most remarkable spectacles in history.

When Leehan began reciting her vows, she had also prepared ones for her stepson, Gage. The lovely young child was overjoyed to see his dad marry, and it was clear that he not only approved of his future mother but was actually pleased with his father’s choice.

While his small eyes were fixed on Leehan, she turned to Gage and began reciting her vows to him.

Her speech was so moving that everyone in the audience said, Awww.” Most people were crying with delight, but it was Gage’s lovely reaction that stole the show.

As he continued to listen to his stepmother’s comments, he burst into tears and put his arms around her.

The pair shared their vows after gathering their emotions.

The newlyweds were believed to have continued on active duty immediately following the unforgettable wedding. They had to return to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, so they postponed their honeymoon.
