America’s Got Skills is one of the greatest shows for expressing one’s skills. Its distinct format, along with its global viewership, has catapulted several people to prominence. One of the finest aspects of AGT is the judges, who are the first to determine whether an act is good enough to make it. Howie Mandell and Heidi Klum have been on the show for years, while Mel B and Sophia Vergara have alternated in the third spot. Simon Cowell, the creator of the show and its most discerning critic, is also present.

But Simon Cowell has his favorites. Simon may never appreciate an ordinary vocalist; someone must have that “phenom” quality for Simon to be pleased. Michael Ketterer is one of those contestants.

Simon has always admired Michael’s performances. All of the other judges and the public have also fallen in love with this vocalist from the beginning. And in the finals, when he sings an exceptionally unusual version of “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” everyone applauds him. Michael certainly deserves all of this recognition.
