Chahat Kumar is a little child with an odd fate. She was born into a middle-class family in Punjab, India. Suraij and Rena Kumar, the girl’s parents, said the infant had a normal weight at delivery. The physicians were unable to determine the cause of such weight gain. Her weight at 8 months was 25 kg. The parents lack the financial resources to cure and evaluate the girl in the major metropolis. They concluded that their daughter had been “kissed by God” and embraced her as such.
