The legendary actor Dick Van Dyke, 97, was spotted at Disneyland with his wife, Arlene Silver. VIDEO

A vacation to Disneyland is never too old!

On Monday, Oct. 2, actor Dick Van Dyke, 97, was photographed enjoying the Anaheim, Calif., amusement park with his wife, Arlene Silver, 51. Fellow parkgoers got images and videos of the pair watching a performance by the Dapper Dans, a barbershop quartet that frequently plays on Main Street, U.S.A.

Phili Chavez, a Disney travel consultant, also recorded a video of the renowned actor laughing and waving to fans from a balcony, presumably on the Disneyland Railroad.

Van Dyke, who played the endearing chimney sweep Bert in Disney’s Mary Poppins in 1964, was dressed in a blue sweater and a white goatee, while Silver was dressed completely in black.

At nearly 100, the Dick Van Dyke Show star is still open to new experiences. Van Dyke released an Instagram video of himself learning to play the ukulele in August.

“My first ukulele lesson with @getstartedplayingukulele,” he captioned the photo. “It’s never too late to start something new.”

He likes ordinary family time when he isn’t exploring Disney or learning to play a new instrument. People reported in June that Van Dyke celebrated Father’s Day with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He shared a number of photographs from the huge event’s celebrations on Instagram.

“I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I first started having children.” But I’m amazed and thankful to have lived long enough to celebrate Father’s Day with some of my children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren! “All wonderful, non-toxic people!” stated the post’s caption. “And to share it all with my greatest gift, @bijoubox, in our magical fairyland, @vandymanor, I’m a very lucky boy! @wesvandyke_fineart”

Van Dyke still appears on film on occasion. According to PEOPLE, he encountered Days of Our Lives star Drake Hogestyn at the gym in April and requested that he find him a role on the program.

“‘Don’t you have any components for old people?’ I asked. ‘Come on, give me one,’ he said at the moment. “And he took me seriously and got me a part!”

Van Dyke appeared in four episodes that aired in September, playing a war veteran who was also a “mystery man with amnesia.”

“I have played old men before, but comedy old men,” Van Dyke said through Access. It’s the first time I’ve just played my 97-year-old self.” Silver also featured in one of the episodes with him.

Soon after competing on season 9 of The Masked Singer, Ryan learned he had secured the part on the iconic serial drama.

He dressed himself as a gnome and sang Frank Sinatra’s “When You’re Smiling.” Many others thought he was Dustin Hoffman or Robert De Niro, according to others at the time, but the judges couldn’t figure him out.

“When they inquired, I hadn’t even seen the show.” So I went to check it out, and it looked like a lot of fun,” he told  people.”I was confident they wouldn’t figure out who I was. And I was correct!”
