Model Rebecca Judd demonstrates the less glamorous side of cosmetic surgery.
Judd, 42, confessed on Instagram Stories that she just got a cosmetic operation to replicate Kris Jenner’s young appearance. The operation resulted in many red lumps on her skin.
Judd posted a photo of the aftermath and urged clinical expert Claire McGuinness to “give me Kris Jenner’s neck without surgery 😝.”
In the photograph, three lines of swelling lumps run horizontally over her neck. While it looked like some of the raised skin on the top of her neck was healing, many elevated spots remained on the lower half.
According to McGuinness’ website, she provides various face rejuvenation procedures, including micro-needling, LED therapies, and injectables. She offers the Exion Face treatment, Rejuran treatment, and LED light therapy.
PEOPLE contacted McGuinness to inquire about the cosmetic operation she did on Judd, the recovery period, and any adverse effects that patients may encounter during and after treatment. She didn’t immediately react to the query.
Jenner’s new look has gotten a lot of attention on the internet recently. In May, PEOPLE reported that she had cosmetic modifications performed by plastic surgeon Dr. Steven Levine in New York City. The doctor’s office offers several cosmetic operations, including facelifts with “natural-looking” outcomes, according to his website.
However, other non-invasive cosmetic procedures do not involve surgery, such as the salmon sperm facial, which is famous among celebrities. Salmon cells are injected into the skin as part of this procedure.
Celebrities such as Kim Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian have acknowledged using the cosmetic technique, which claims to revitalize facial skin.
Dermatologist Joshua Zeichner, MD, of New York City, has demonstrated that the fish’s reproductive cells “improve skin, hydration, plumpness, texture, and wrinkles.”
“The effects on the skin are thought to be caused by elevated DNA levels.” DNA is made up of amino acids, which have long been utilized in skincare for their moisturizing and cell-renewing properties,” Zeichner stated.
However, salmon sperm has both advantages and disadvantages, as aesthetician Nerida Joy told PopSugar that the treatment might be too harsh for someone with acne-prone skin. There is also limited evidence to support its efficacy, and the therapy has not yet been authorized by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
