The response of Dodgers players to the first pitch thrown by Korean actress Jeon Jong-seo becomes an internet sensation

Jeon Jong-seo made quite an impression on some Los Angeles Dodgers players during an exhibition game in South Korea. The team faced off against the Kiwoom Heroes at the Gocheok Sky Dome on Sunday night (March 17).

To kickstart the game, Korean actor Jong-seo threw the first pitch, donning a Dodgers shirt, leggings, and knee-high socks. It’s safe to say the sports stars were pretty impressed.

But from the looks of the now-viral footage of the moment she pitched, it wasn’t her sports skills they were impressed with (if you catch my drift).

The camera panned to the dugout as Jong-seo had her moment to shine, and the likes of Chris Taylor and Tyler Glasnow looked particularly smitten with the 29-year-old star.

And their reactions weren’t missed as baseball fans took to X to call them out.

“Dudes being dudes,” one person penned, as a second said: “Tyler looks smitten by her.”

“Can’t blame them,” a different person added.

A fourth quipped: “All these guys better be single or they will be when they get home.”

“Men being men,” someone else went on.

Lucky for the awestruck players, Ballerina star Jong-seo posed for photos with them after her pitch.

Away from the spell that the Korean star cast on the team, the Dodgers beat their opponents 14-3 with the help of Freeman who bagged himself a home run.

Their game against the Kiwoom Heroes comes just days before the Dodgers kick off their 2024 season.

They’re set to face the Padres in South Korea tomorrow (March 20).

The game marks the first time that Major League Baseball regular-season games are being played in South Korea.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said of the team’s upcoming games in Seoul: “I’m really looking forward to it, learning more about the culture, the city.

“Obviously there’s a lot of good ball players there, and so for us and the Padres to go over there and showcase and play two regular-season games, it’s good for baseball. I’m excited.”

While actor Jong-seo threw the first pitch on Sunday night, Chan-Ho Park, the first Korean-born player in MLB history and also a former Dodger and Padre, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch ahead of tomorrow’s match, CBS Sports reports.

The game will air on SportsNet LA, Padres TV, ESPN, as well as being live streamed on fubo.
