The thought of our children being missing, or worse, being kidnapped, sends chills down every parent’s spine. It’s in our instinct to protect our children at all times and to be concerned about them for no reason. When children go missing, we can only imagine the fear and horror that every parent feels since they are unable to intervene.

Kaydon Leach, their six-year-old son, went away one night, leaving his parents powerless. Officials started looking for the child, and 100 people combed the region all night looking for him. The Blount County Bureau of Investigation obtained a search warrant for an ‘endangered kid,’ while rescuers combed 2000 acres for the missing child.
Kaydon was just six years old and couldn’t protect himself in any life-threatening situation. A significant number of volunteers, a Black Hawk military helicopter, the Blount County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, and K-9 teams assisted in the search for him.
