Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter has grown up! Here is how she has changed

When Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt first began dating, they generated a media frenzy. Whether you liked, disliked, or even cared that two of Hollywood’s most gorgeous people were together, you couldn’t escape seeing photographs of them together in every newspaper.

Despite allegations of adultery and secret relationships, Hollywood’s most legendary couple remained married for 12 years, raising their three biological and three adoptive children.

Angelina Jolie, the “Tomb Raider” actress, already had two adopted boys, Maddox and Pax, when she met Brad Pitt on the set of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” in 2004. Back then, Brad Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston.

“Because of the film, we were brought together to do all these crazy things, and I think we discovered this strange friendship and partnership that kind of just happened.” I guess I realized after a few months, ‘God, I can’t wait to go to work.” We really discovered a lot of fun and true collaboration in anything we had to accomplish with each other. “We just kind of became a couple,” Angelina Jolie told People in 2006.

There were many speculations about a probable relationship between Pitt and Jolie at the time, but the primary protagonists in the conjecture remained silent.

“We spent a lot of time contemplating, thinking about, and talking about what we both wanted in life and realized that we wanted very, very similar things,” Angelina said.

In 2005, Angelina consented to adopt Ethiopian-born Zahara Marley, and Brad Pitt co-adopted her in 2006.

They confirmed their relationship in 2006, when Angelina said she was pregnant with Brad’s kid. She and Pitt drove to Namibia for the birth to escape the media storm that would have inevitably erupted.

The announcement that Brad and Angelina, called “Brangelina,” were expecting a child together made international headlines.

According to photo agencies, the first image of the infant was valued at $1 million, so it’s no surprise that an army of photographers swarmed the pair.

“Not since Jesus has a baby been so eagerly anticipated,” New York magazine said.

Shiloh Nouvel, the couple’s healthy baby daughter, was born on May 27, 2006. Their daughter was delivered at The Cottage Medi-Clinic, a private hospital in the Namibian beach town of Swakopmund.

“Angelina underwent a scheduled cesarean due to breech presentation,” Dr. Rothbart said to people at the time, adding:

“The baby weighed a healthy 7 pounds.” Brad remained in the surgery room with Angelina the whole time and severed his daughter’s umbilical cord. “Both the surgery and the birth went off without a hitch.”

Brad and Angelina then sold the photographs of their stunning bundle for a record sum, with all revenues going to UNICEF.

“While we rejoice in our daughter’s birth, we recognize that every year, 2 million babies in the developing world die on their first day of life.” These children can be rescued, but only if governments throughout the globe prioritize them,” the pair stated in a statement.

It was challenging to go anywhere without the media following you because of the extraordinary circumstances of this young girl’s birth, but the couple has made every effort to keep their children’s lives private despite the attention.

Naturally, all eyes were on Shiloh. Not unexpected given her parentage.

Shiloh turned 16 years old in May of this year. She’s finally beginning to mature. The adolescent is said to be close to her elder brothers and sister, as well as her 14-year-old twin siblings, Knox and Vivienne.

There isn’t much known about the renowned family since none of them are on social media, but one tale that has emerged is that the couple’s eldest biological kid hasn’t gone by the name Shiloh since a very early age.

Instead, the kid has gone by the name John Jolie-Pitt, which she picked herself. Pitt revealed to Oprah Winfrey in 2008 that Shiloh had asked him to name her John instead.

“She only wants to be addressed as John.” Peter or John. So it’s a Peter Pan situation. So we’ll have to name her John,” he said.

“So we’ll have to call her John.” ‘Shi, what do you want?”—John ‘My name is John.’ ‘John, would you want some orange juice?’ I’ll ask. ‘No!’ she exclaims. So, you know, it’s just that type of thing that’s charming to parents but probably irritating to everyone else.”

Her parents, who divorced in 2019, are totally supportive of their child’s name choice, and John wants to wear clothing that matches those of her brothers.

“She wants to be a boy,” Angelina said to Vanity Fair. “As a result, we had to cut her hair. She like to dress in guys’ clothing. “She believes she is one of the brothers.”

Despite the fact that Shiloh had special importance for Angelina, she agreed to the name change.
“My parents almost named their first child Shiloh Baptist, but there was a miscarriage.” “Because my father had been filming in Georgia, and it was the most southern name [my parents] could think of,” she recalled.

“I’ve always loved the name. Shiloh Baptist was the name I used to go by in motels. When Brad contacted the hotel rooms where I was staying, I’d gone under.”

Shiloh has an excellent bond with both of her parents, despite Brad and Angelina’s divorce.

Furthermore, media sources indicate that Brad Pitt is a very proud parent.

“Brad’s children are everything to him.” “He tells his friends that he learns so much about life from his own children,” an Entertainment Tonight insider said, adding:

“He and Angie have gotten along so much better since the custody arrangements were worked out. They’ve come a long way.”

Shiloh, doesn’t she resemble her father? Many people believe she inherited her mother’s lips.

“Brad is very proud of Shiloh and who she has evolved into. He adores the fact that she is always true to herself and so kind to her brothers and sisters,” one insider told ET.

Fast forward to March 2020, and Angelina Jolie revealed that her daughter had gone under the knife. She contributed to Time in honor of International Women’s Day.

“I’ve spent the last two months in and out of surgeries with my eldest daughter [Zahara], and I just saw her younger sister [Shiloh] have hip surgery.”

“My wish for today is that we value girls.” Take care of them. And understand that the stronger they get, the healthier they will become, and the more they will give back to their family and community.”

Shiloh Jolie-Pitt made another appearance at the U.K. premiere of Marvel’s “Eternals” in 2011.

According to People, she donned the same black-and-white Dior gown that Angelina wore at a press conference for “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” in 2019.

Shiloh’s sudden appearance and clothing choices confused many people. Shiloh, on the other hand, has borrowed her mother’s clothes before. Shiloh wore her mother’s Gabriela Hearst gown at the US premiere of “Eternals” in July 2021.

We can all learn a lot from Brad and Angelina’s handling of this scenario, such as letting Shiloh wear anything she wants and style her hair however she wants.

Shiloh may take her time finding out who she wants to be since there is no pressure to adhere to any standard. After all, it is all any young person is attempting.
