On a lonely road in the Evan’s Creek Mountains, a motorist noticed a terrified dog. The dog was so hungry that he got quite violent and refused to allow anyone to approach him. The dog was eventually named Bear.
The driver snapped images of Bear and uploaded them on social media in an attempt to enlist assistance. Amanda resolved to help Bear immediately after learning about him, postponing her plans.
Amanda and her friend Dylan began their search in the hopes of locating the puppy, despite her family’s advice not to go because it is hazardous.
They discovered the dog after several hours of searching, but Bear was understandably afraid and refused to let anybody get near to him. They tried tempting him with food, snacks, and a variety of unusual approaches, but it didn’t work. Amanda and her buddy had to return home as darkness fell, but they did so the following day.
After a few more unsuccessful tries, they planned a new strategy to draw Bear when they discovered him in the same location the next day. Amanda decided to “play it dead” by lying down on the ground, hoping to persuade the dog that she needed aid.
A few hours after Amanda had remained motionless on the ground, an incident occurred that captured the hearts of countless animal lovers across the world.
Bear believed Amanda required assistance and proceeded to sniff her for twenty minutes before making contact. Amanda persevered, even when the dog eventually became bored and walked on.
After a few seconds, Bear turned and sat down beside Amanda, as if to let her know he was there.
A few hours later, Amanda was able to earn Bear’s trust and persuade him that his objectives were purely for her. Bear accompanied Amanda to the car, and they drove straight to the veterinarian.
After regaining his strength through care and therapy, a family quickly adopted Bear. The dog now has a loving family and a place of his own, so he no longer needs to live on the streets.
Bear’s attempt to aid Amanda when she was on the ground sheds light on the nature of this amazing canine.
Amanda, of course, deserves our highest praise and respect for her efforts to preserve Bear.
