Chanko, a little Japanese girl, was born at the end of December 2017, and from the very beginning, her parents noticed her unique and special feature – a mop of blue-black thick hair on her head. Unlike many babies whose early hair tends to be soft and often falls out, Chanko’s voluminous hairstyle remained nearly the same as at birth even by the age of six months.

Recognizing her daughter’s extraordinary hair, Chanko’s mother, Mani Kano, created a separate Instagram account to share pictures of her unique baby. Chanko quickly gained attention and currently boasts over 360 thousand subscribers on Instagram.

The little Japanese girl’s striking hair didn’t just capture the interest of regular internet users; it also caught the attention of media and advertising agencies.

At the age of one, Chanko became the face of an advertising campaign for the popular Pantene shampoo brand. In the advertisement, she starred alongside Japanese actress and national star Sato Kondo. Now at the age of four, Chanko’s hair has become slightly less thick and lightened a bit, but it still remains voluminous and eye-catching.

Chanko is actively invited to various Japanese TV shows and events, participating in photo shoots for fashion magazines. Her Instagram page showcases an active and joyful childhood, bathed in the love of her parents and fans.
