Unfortunately, three individuals died as a result of the tornado’s devastation at the Hol Park Mobile Home Community. Among the chaos, a four-month-old infant named Lord had an incredible survival story to share.

Sydney Moore, Lord’s mother, detailed her horrific encounter with the tornado. Her partner went to save Lord, who was in a bassinet, while she looked after her one-year-old son, Princeton. The tornado’s powerful winds unexpectedly whisked the bassinet with tiny Lord within into the air. The Lord’s survival in the bassinet amidst the violent storm was nothing short of miraculous.

Moore’s first concern after the tornado passed was finding her child among the rubble. What they discovered next was very amazing: Lord seated behind a tree, his face horribly cut. Moore feels Lord’s survival is nothing short of a miracle, given the severity of his injuries. To get medical attention, the family had to walk through the destroyed surroundings. Lord had ear and head injuries, as well as a fractured shoulder. A shattered bassinet near their house serves as a constant reminder of the family’s difficult journey and fortitude.
