Three years after her son’s death, lady opens her door on Halloween and sees children dressed in costumes she sewed for him…

Rosemary found it difficult to celebrate Halloween three years after the death of her son Dave. Encouraged by her psychotherapist, she hesitantly painted her home, trying to rediscover happiness. On Halloween night, a group of children, dressed in costumes she had made for Dave, arrived at her house.

She dashed inside his room, stunned, only to discover that it was almost empty. Lucas, Rosemary’s husband, stated that he had donated Dave’s belongings to a nearby shelter in an attempt to lessen her suffering. Her heart soared when she found that the children came from the shelter. One youngster, Tom, looked so much like Dave that she felt kinship.

They were overjoyed and chose to adopt Tom. A year later, as they prepared for Halloween together, Rosemary realized that Tom was Dave’s gift to them, bringing new life and joy into their family.
