Most people know reality star Todd Chrisley for how much he cares about his family. This was clear on the USA Network show “Chrisley Knows Best.”
In the show, his wife, children, his mother, Faye Chrisley, and other members of his family were shown. Todd has been married twice, and he and two different women have had five children together.

The TV star’s oldest children are a girl named Lindsie and a boy named Kyle. He had them with his first wife, Teresa Terry. With his second wife and co-star, Julie Chrisley, he had three more kids: Chase, Grayson, and Savannah.
The Chrisley family has been in trouble over the years, but the family leader has always put being a good father first. In an interview in 2014, he said, “It’s always hard when bad things happen and make you feel uncomfortable. But everyone in the family is doing well, and we’re all very lucky.”
Even though Todd and Julie had a happy family, things fell apart in 2022 when they were found guilty of fraud for a scheme to scam banks out of more than $30 million in loans.
Peter Tarantino, who worked as their accountant, was also found guilty of several tax crimes and sent to jail. Their daughter, Savannah, and son, Chase, have talked about how bad things were for them in jail.

In a recent episode of Savannah’s podcast, “Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley,” her brothers talked about how their famous parents have been doing in jail.
“It’s a nightmare,” Chase said when he went to see his father lately. He said that there is “no air conditioning” where his parents are being held. In “Chasin’ Birdies,” another podcast, he said that his mother’s living conditions were “worse.”
His sister, on the other hand, said that there are problems with asbestos, black mold, and paint made with lead where their parents are doing their time. In general, they said that the conditions were cruel.
At the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) in Pensacola, Florida, Todd is serving a 12-year sentence, while his wife Julie is serving a 7-year term. The mother of three was taken to the Federal Medical Center (FMC) Lexington in Lexington, Kentucky.

Judge Eleanor Ross of the US District Court in Atlanta told the TV stars that they had to pay back $17.2 million for their $36 million fraud plan. This was on top of their sentences.
Insiders say that the two would have to sell their two $9 million Nashville, Tennessee, homes to pay the fine. A source said that Todd and Julie could not “afford it.”
Todd and Julie haven’t talked since they both went to jail more than six months ago. Their daughter Savannah wrote about this on her Instagram Story, along with old photos of them, and said:
“We haven’t talked to each other in 195 days. My heart is breaking.”

The TV star also asked her 2.7 million social media fans to “help bring justice” for her parents and posted a link to the website for their legal defense.
Julie and Todd are both in jail for bank fraud and not paying taxes. They are hundreds of miles away from each other and have been there for 19 years. Their time in prison started in January 2023.
