Update about the actor from How I Met Your Mother who attempted to leave the country after stabbing his girlfriend 20 times

The most recent information about How I Met Your Mother actor Nick Pasqual—who is suspected of assaulting his fiancée and attempting to escape the country—has been made public by the authorities.
On May 23, at approximately 4:30 in the morning, an attack occurred at the Los Angeles home of makeup artist Allie Shehorn. Authorities issued an arrest warrant for Pasqual on the grounds that he may have carried out the attack after he stabbed Allie Shehorn several times and took her to the hospital in severe condition.

According to reports, Pasqual and Shehorn were once romantically involved. The LA Times claims that Shehorn sought a restraining order against the actor, alleging domestic abuse, just a few days before the attack.
It’s unclear if Pasqual received the restraining order before the incident, but a Los Angeles County Superior judge appears to have approved it.

On May 23, when Shehorn did not show up for work, alarms went up. Her housemate, who claims to have stabbed her “more than 20 times,” found her shortly after.
Variety reports that the court issued an arrest order for Pasqual worth $1.075 million after transporting the makeup artist to the hospital in an ambulance.
However, the actor—who had previously appeared in movies and television shows such as Jobs and Rebel Moon—had supposedly vanished by then, according to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.

Later, authorities detained Pasqual at a checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas.
Since then, authorities have charged him with “one count of attempted murder, one count of first-degree residential burglary with a person present, and one count of injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend, or child’s parent.”
Shehorn allegedly spent several days in the Intensive Care Unit after undergoing emergency surgery for her injuries.
Her pals have created a GoFundMe page to “support” her recovery.

The headline reads: “Allie is now in the hospital fighting for her life, in critical condition.” Allie is an amazing individual; she exudes warmth, friendliness, and love. Nobody should go through this, especially Allie, who is compassionate. Although she will have a difficult journey to recovery, with your help, we can lessen her load and give her much-needed financial support.”

Shehorn is supposedly “feeling better” and “trying her best to stay positive,” but there are “complications,” according to the most recent post.

“My thoughts and heartfelt sympathies are with the victim in this horrific incident,” declared Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón in a statement. Our office is providing her with assistance and resources, including our Bureau of Victim Services, as she embarks on the long and arduous process of recovering from the physical and emotional trauma inflicted upon her.
“We will make sure the perpetrator of this heinous act faces the consequences.”
The Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating the issue, and they have not yet scheduled an arraignment date.
