The sweetest newborn moments frequently happen when a camera is out of the picture. But occasionally, a parent’s impeccable timing might provide a priceless moment to treasure for years. In this video of a baby twin duet, that is the situation.

Babies under swaddling blankets look up at the camera as if they are twins. They have the finest facial expressions when their mother sings over them. They start moving their lips and wrinkling their faces. Eventually, they begin singing along with Natalie, their mother.
Since their conception, our adorable infant twins have been exposed to this music. Written by Natalie Ledbetter. They were only 2 MONTHS OLD when this was recorded, despite being 4 months old on the video since they were born prematurely.

The twins gaze at their mother with wide-open eyes and listen. They make hilarious faces and gorgeous small smiles while she sings. She sings to them, and the whole time they are looking at her.
According to Natalie, “When I started singing, they instantly lit up and knew exactly what to do.” And sure enough, the twins start talking. They make noises and mold their lips into words in an effort to communicate.

The earliest a parent or caregiver should anticipate hearing vocalizations from a newborn is around 2 months old. They are able to gurgle and coo. Like the twins in this video, some newborns utter vowels.
Babies grin and make noises to communicate. They wait for a reaction from an adult and frequently imitate facial expressions that they watch their parents make. These identical twins made the decision to imitate the singing down to the contour of the lips. It is a daily dose of cuteness that is much needed!
