The former Hollywood star is presently undergoing treatment for stage four cancer.

During her ongoing stage four cancer fight, Shannen Doherty has made a stunning revelation regarding her former spouse.

The tragic cancer journey of the Beverly Hills star started in 2015, when she received a breast cancer diagnosis.

However, two years after starting therapy, she disclosed that she had entered remission.

Since admitting in 2020 that she had received a stage four cancer diagnosis, Doherty has been open and honest about her ongoing battle with the disease for many years.

She also described how the cancer had spread to her brain and even her bones.

In addition to her health concerns, Doherty is attempting to get spousal support from her estranged husband, Kurt Iswarienko, as her monthly residual income is declining.

According to a People article, the actor has not received the requested financial information about Iswarienko’s archive work.

Doherty thinks her ex is purposefully holding up the court proceedings to avoid having to pay her.

In the field application, she said, “‘It is simply not right that Kurt be permitted to prolong our divorce in hopes that I die before he is required to pay me while he continues to live his life and shirk his responsibilities to his dying wife of more than 11 years.”

However, Iswarienko’s attorney, Katherine Heersema, shot back at the harsh claims.

Kurt isn’t just waiting for Shannen to die. ‘He wishes Shannen all the best and for them to be able to move on from this matter together,” she stated.

However, Doherty has rejected the settlement offers, claiming that they “skirted around the issues of his earning capacity” and “his original works created during the marriage.”

She said, “As a result of my recurrent health issues, I have been largely unable to work and have no future employment prospects.” Almost all of my money these days comes from jobs I did before getting married.”

In other court documents, Doherty stated that her divorced husband prioritizes his way of life over anything else.

She stated: “While I have been unable to work, incurring exorbitant medical expenses not covered by insurance to undergo experimental treatments in hopes of prolonging my life, Kurt has been utilizing the airplane, spending thousands of dollars at medical spas, jewelry stores, Gucci, and on flights for his ‘agent,’ while simultaneously claiming that he has insufficient funds with which to support me.”
