Woman takes Boogie Woogie to another level, rocking the crowd at Blues Festival!

There are gifted actors and musicians around the globe. Having both skills is truly remarkable, yet a select few are fortunate enough to possess both. Isn’t that envy? Presenting Doña Oxford, a genuinely amazing person.

A YouTube video of Doña performing at the 2013 Riverfront Blues Festival has received 12.8 million views. In it, Doña performs boogie-woogie, one of the most enjoyable musical genres. At the start of the video, Doña asks if she may play for them, and the audience excitedly cheers and answers yes.

Declaring that she is going to teach them boogie-woogie, Doña drops the gauntlet and begins to play. She truly is amazing. Her proficiency on the keyboard is impressive, but that’s not all. She’s got attitude and sass, which makes it even more enjoyable. She nods her head, moves her body in time with the beat, and accentuates the song with her hips. I have a wonderful time watching this show.

As the song goes on, she riffs along with the crowd. She even boldly declares that she will bind one hand behind her back while performing the boogie. When she executes the boogie flawlessly, she quips, “The bass player can now go home.” He chuckles and plays off, leaving the stage. Subsequently, Doña adds the right hand again and explains that the boogie wouldn’t be complete without the woogie. The tempo increases throughout the video until her hands are blurry. She ends her routine with a thunderous round of applause, as one might expect.
