Wynonna Judd married the love of her life, Cactus Moser, who was involved in an accident that required his leg to be amputated just two months after their wedding. The pair is now celebrating their 11th wedding anniversary

Wynonna Judd married Cactus Moser, a music producer and composer, in 2012. The pair have been married for a little more than a decade and just celebrated their anniversary.

On their wedding anniversary, Judd rushed to Instagram to pay respect to her husband. She shared a romantic image of the two lovebirds staring into each other’s eyes as they hugged with huge smiles on their cheeks in the post.

Many followers swooned over the touching devotion and voiced their admiration for the couple’s love. Judd’s tweet was accompanied by a touching caption:

“I married my loving husband 11 years ago. I’m madly in love with a really colorful character! MY KING, YOU ARE.”

When they first married, the couple had two months of marital happiness when a horrible occurrence occurred. Moser was unfortunately involved in a motorcycle accident, which required him to have his leg amputated.

Judd had been married twice before meeting her prince charming. Arch Kelley III, a businessman, was the first guy to whom she said “I do” in 1996. The couple had been dating for several years before their wedding and had two children together: Elijah Judd Kelley, born in 1994, and Grace Pauline Kelley, born in 1996.

After her divorce from her first husband was finalized in 2003, the “Love Can Build A Bridge” singer married her former bodyguard, D. R. Roach. Judd said of her second marriage, “The ties between me and Roach were solid and lasting because we had already been coworkers and friends for ten years.” However, she filed for divorce from Roach in 2007.

Although Judd had been married to her first husband since the 1990s, Moser had known her longer than Kelley, since the two had known each other since the 1980s. Moser was on tour with her band, The Judds, at the time, and she was playing drums. However, the pair married in June 2012, a day Judd characterized in her 2023 documentary as “one of the best days of my life,” saying:

“Marrying Cactus was one of the best days of my life because I’ve never trusted and loved someone as much as I love Cactus.”

Only Judd’s two children, Elijah and Grace, and Moser’s three children from his former marriage, Cahl, Wyatt, and Sunshine, were present during the ceremony. Many people were perplexed as to why Judd’s mother and sister were not present. According to the country singer, she chose to keep them off the guest list for the following reasons:

“I didn’t want it to be about anything other than Cactus and me.” Because, at the end of the day, it’s just the kids, Cactus, and me. Everything else faded away because I was so focused on making this unique for them.”

Moser’s deeply intimate proposal on Christmas Eve pushed the June wedding forward. Judd raved in her documentary, in which Moser also appears, about how lovely the occasion had been—just the two of them, alone on their farm.

As previously said, the happy couple’s marital honeymoon was relatively fleeting, as Moser found himself at the center of an accident two months after their vow exchange. When Moser’s bike collided with an oncoming automobile, the drummer and Judd were traveling on different motorcycles.

Judd and Moser have been married for 11 years and continue to prosper and remain loyal to each other through their eternal love.

Moser’s left leg was entirely severed in the automobile accident, and he was transported to a hospital in Rapid City, South Dakota, as soon as paramedics arrived. Unfortunately, his leg was beyond saving, and surgeons had to amputate it above the knee.

Moser’s injuries were so severe that he required extra hand surgery, according to sources. Judd noted in a statement made after the accident:

“The outpouring of love and support from friends, family, and fans has been a blessing to Cactus and me.” Cactus is a winner. I adore him and will never leave his side.”

Though the near-fatal motorcycle accident was a difficult period for the pair, Judd pledged she would never leave Moser’s side. Moser jumped back on his bike and hit the road fifteen months after the accident, refusing to let fear keep him from doing what he loves.

His adoring wife was overjoyed to see him overcome his sorrow and use it to encourage others. Judd characterized her husband as an overachiever and a source of inspiration for numerous others who have lost limbs.
