You should always leave a spoon of sugar in your backyard before leaving, and here’s why…

Some individuals dislike bees. They believe that all they are doing is interfering with our efforts to enjoy our picnic. But the sad reality is that these little insects are disappearing.

This is significant since 90 percent of the world’s population depends on bees for food. In fact, without them, we would perish.

There are some fairly easy things that anybody can do to benefit the environment, so you don’t have to be a “tree hugger” to appreciate the ecosystem in which you live.

As the saying goes, nobody can do everything, but everyone can do something. For those who will follow us, it is our duty to protect this lovely globe.

For his whole life, 92-year-old Sir David Attenborough has battled for animals, the environment, and nature.

The British naturalist and novelist is most recognized for his work as a television presenter, and his voice is easily recognizable.

This living icon is now sharing another crucial message that I believe everyone should hear.

He recently posted on Facebook that if bees vanished from the planet, people would only have four years to survive.

Although David Attenborough is undoubtedly not the first to issue such a dire warning, his tweet serves as a reminder that this is a matter that we should all take seriously.

Nearly a third of the food we consume is pollinated by bees, despite the fact that they may appear small and unimportant.

According to David Attenborough’s writing, the bee population has decreased by 1/3 during the past five years.

However, there is still hope. There is one thing that we can all do, and it’s an idea that is now catching on like wildfire.

David Attenborough provides straightforward advice that everyone should follow: Place a spoonful of sugar and water on your lawn. It could save your life!

“At this time of year, bees frequently appear to be dying or dead, but they’re not. Bees can get exhausted and simply run out of energy before they can get back to the hive, which frequently leads to their being carried away.

“A simple solution of sugar and water will help revive an exhausted bee if you find one in your home.”

Put the mixture on a spoon for the bee to eat by combining two teaspoons of white, granulated sugar with one tablespoon of water. Sharing this article will also help spread awareness.

Planting flowers on your balcony or allowing wildflowers to take over a portion of your lawn are two more ways to support the well-being of bees and people. The neighborhood bees will adore it!
