You’ll never guess why the bride and groom didn’t get to cut their wedding cake

The pair didn’t even have time to cut the wedding cake.

18-year-old Carl Mountford and his pregnant wife, 19-year-old Danny, headed to the dance floor to dance their first dance as husband and wife. The music continued playing when suddenly Danny felt something warm trickling down her leg—labor began.

Despite the fact that the wedding was in full flow, Danny and Carl quickly got a cab to the hospital. “The DJ was still playing, people were drinking drinks, and we were already leaving the event,” the girl recounts.

The pregnant woman was permitted to take off her wedding dress only in the prenatal ward, and it was drenched through. Early the following morning, Jasmine was born. The child weighed 2.9 kilograms and was totally healthy.

Despite all the surprises, Danny is glad to remember this day: “One minute I’m dancing with my new husband, and the next minute I’m already giving birth to a daughter. The delivery on the wedding day was the greatest surprise for us, but it was them who made it even more memorable and wonderful, and it will always be so.”
