Your life won’t be the same after witnessing Down syndrome boy’s reaction to meeting his sister for the first time…

Brooks Williams fell in love with his newborn sister the moment he saw her, and this video is all proof.

A small kid fell so completely in love after seeing his new baby sister that he grieved every time his mother took her away from him.

Ashlyn Williams of Richland Township, Arkansas, was originally apprehensive that her 1-year-old son, Brooks, would be envious of his new baby sister, Collyns, when the family brought her home from the hospital for the first time on March 17.

To her surprise, when Ashlyn presented Collyns to her husband, Logan Williams, Brooks was immediately smitten with his new brother.

A viral video of the incident shows Brooks, who has Down syndrome, laughing and smiling as he looks at his sister while sitting in his father’s lap.

Brooks bursts into tears as Ashlyn scoops up Collyn and moves her out of his sight, which is even more startling.

“Do you want her back?” You can hear Ashlyn repeating, “Okay, okay, okay, okay,” as her son cries out for his baby sister.

Just seconds later, Brooks smiles with happiness as his mother puts Collyns back down. He even scoots up closer to have a better look at her.

“We weren’t sure how Brooks would react to having a baby around and whether he’d get jealous of having to share attention,” Ashlyn stated of the photograph. “But it was really sweet; he already loves her so much.”

“When he first met her in the hospital, he reacted exactly the same way, so we just had to capture it on video,” she recalled. We were tickled by his reaction…he is such a loving young boy.”

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, approximately one out of every 700 newborns born in the US has Down syndrome, which happens when a child is born with an extra copy of chromosome 21. Every year, around 6,000 newborns in the United States are born with this chromosomal abnormality.
