Prepare for an explosion of cuteness as one tiny drummer kid captivated the America’s Got Talent judges.
When the cute 5-year-old Chrisyius Whitehead walked onto the AGT stage wearing a white button-down shirt, brown vest, and stylish bowtie, judges Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Howie Mandel, and Heidi Klum were immediately smitten. As the boy arrived with a pair of drumsticks, focusing on his pronunciation, Cowell posed a crucial question: “What would he do with the $1 million prize?”
“I would share with poor people, homeless people, and everyone in this whole world,” stated the lovable child, impressing both the live crowd and AGT host Terry Crews.
Cowell thought Whitehead’s reaction “very sweet” and inquired what he would do with any leftover money.
“I would buy 200 bags of slime and squishy toys,” Whitehead added, to which everyone laughed.
After Klum mentioned how much she enjoyed creating farting sounds with the toys, Whitehead responded with a “yes, ma’am.”.

Chrisyius Whitehead, a 5-year-old from Sopchoppy, Florida, informed the judges that he had been practicing the drums since a young age.
“Since I was one, two, and three,” he confessed.
Cowell, whose son also plays drums, described the boy’s talent as “the coolest thing in the world.”
Outside of the AGT studio, Whitehead has made quite an impression on social media, particularly his family’s TikTok account. One video demonstrating the then-4-year-old boy’s drumming abilities has received approximately 14 million views and counting.
What makes Whitehead’s performances so charming is that, because of his “tiny” stature, the boy must stand while playing his complete drum equipment.
What song did he perform for the judges?
In his AGT debut, Whitehead drummed to Stevie Wonder’s Faith with Ariana Grande without missing a beat. Best known as the lead single from the animated musical Sing, the popular 2016 song received a nomination for Best Original Song at the 74th Golden Globe Awards.
Standing behind the silver drum kit, Whitehead could hardly see beyond the drumming as audience members dropped their mouths. He followed Cowell’s suggestion and had a fantastic time on stage, with no doubt or apprehension.
When the song concluded, Cowell raised his hands and stood up from his seat.

What did the judges say about Chrisyius Whitehead?
When Cowell asked if it felt wonderful to play the set, Whitehead said, “Yes, sir.” Audiences couldn’t get enough when Whitehead revealed that he was standing rather than seated, something the judges couldn’t detect from where they sat.
Judge Mandel asked the child whether he felt he “did good,” and when Whitehead replied, “Yes, sir,” Mandel said, “No, you did great!”
“I have to say, you’re better than most adults that are trying to do this, young man,” laughed Judge Klum. “I can’t believe you’re only five years old!”
She went on to say that Whitehead’s consistent practice paid off since he was “very, very good.”
Vergara was amazed by how much Whitehead seemed to enjoy playing and described him as “handsome.”
Meanwhile, Cowell disputed Mandel’s use of the word “great,” saying that the youngster was “brilliant.”
Host Simon Cowell remarked, “Your timing was incredible, your showmanship was unbelievable, and most importantly, I can tell you love.” “And you know what? Being a superb drummer makes you the coolest guy on earth right now.”
Whitehead merely murmured “thank you” as the judges presented yes after yes, leaving him with four yeses in all.
