7-year-old girl specially invited by Judge Alesha Dixon demonstrates to everyone that success has no set boundaries!

A Britain’s Got Talent contestant who captivated the judges and audience in 2022 but did not advance to the live shows has demonstrated that she did not rely on the competition for her resounding success.

Skylar Blu was left shocked when Alesha Dixon called her to the London Palladium for a surprise audition as a Golden Moment during the 15th season of the ITV show.

Simon Cowell described the child dancer as ‘amazing,’ praising her ‘immaculate’ routine, while Amanda Holden claimed she was ‘bursting’ after seeing the performance.

‘Please do not forget us when you’re world-renowned.’ David Walliams, a former judge, added.

Despite the compliments and four yeses, Skylar did not make it to the live concerts, but she proved she didn’t need to.

The girl, who was just seven years old when she auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent, now appears in Marks & Spencer’s Christmas advertisement.

Dawn French starred in the supermarket’s food advertisement, but Skylar currently appears in its clothes and home Christmas commercial.

The 90-second commercial depicts Christmas ‘through a child’s eyes,’ with Skylar dancing around the home as she gathers her family, as the Jackson Sisters’ I Believe In Miracles plays.

Skylar is saddened to learn that there will be no snow on the big day, but then she discovers a magical snow globe that changes everything.

Hundreds of baubles cascade down the stairs in the corridor, and she looks to be in a snow globe, with the entire room turned upside down and her family defying gravity as they dance in sync around the walls.

The video concludes with her entire family in their Christmas attire, enjoying the fun of their life, with a message reading, ‘Christmas starts here.’

Anna Braithwaite, M&S Clothing & Home Marketing Director, stated, “For many of our customers, Christmas is one of the most important events in the calendar, a time for the entire family to come together and create lasting memories.”

‘The holiday season instills a sense of optimism, wonder, and joy, and this year, we’re adopting a lighthearted approach by incorporating some imagination into our Christmas marketing.

‘We’ve always been known for delivering the wonder and glitter of Christmas to our customers, and this season, via our campaign, we’re displaying the very best of M&S, with amazing quality, attractive apparel, and inventive, thoughtful, and playful presents—all at a fantastic value.

Director Elliott Power stated, “The excitement of kids at Christmas is infectious; it reminds us what it felt like, and it takes us back. This is not just a fashion film, but a festive flight of fancy through a child’s eyes, a visual spectacle with a playful tone, with beautiful elevated festive fashion integrated throughout.”

Choreographer Corey Baker noted, “The choreography and movement lean into physical theatre—think unconventional positions in conventional spaces.” We wanted to create something that seems familiar yet dreamy and fun—a fantasy extravaganza that fills you with Christmas cheer.

Skylar’s followers have expressed their joy at her comeback to television, with @littlelucieanna saying, ‘Wow, I always knew you were going to be a celebrity.’
