A woman whose house was destroyed in a crash is suing Anne Heche’s estate for $2 million… But then this happen to her…

A woman whose home was destroyed in the sad event that befell the actress Anne Heche on August 5 has filed a lawsuit against the estate of Anne Heche.

Records obtained by PEOPLE reveal that on November 9, attorneys representing Lynne Mishele asked for “at least $2 million” in damages, citing “negligence,” “infliction of emotional distress,” and “trespass” as the bases for their claims.

According to the document, Michele, who was working from home at the time of the accident and was renting the house from John and Jennifer Durand, states that she was “stunned by the force of Heche’s vehicle crashing through the front wall and driving through the living room, kitchen, home office, and primary room closet before settling in the storage room of her house.” John and Jennifer Durand owned the home at the time of the accident.

According to the documents, the front end of the car came to a stop barely a few feet away from the plaintiff and her pets, which included two dogs named Bree and Rueben and a tortoise named Marley.

The documents continue by stating, “By the kindness of God, Plaintiff and her three pets just survived bodily contact from the car collision,” before going on to say that as a result of the accident, Mishele is “terrified, severely traumatized, and homeless.”

According to the documents, all she was wearing was a tank top, sweatpants, and she did not have any shoes on.

“As a direct consequence of the fatal accident that Heche was responsible for, the home as well as all of the Plaintiff’s personal property were completely destroyed by fire.

This included all of her business documents and equipment, her laptop and iPad, as well as all of her clothing, basic necessities, and household items.”

According to the records, the plaintiff has been and is continuing to undergo great emotional hardship as well as professional problems. This is in addition to the fact that she has lost all of her belongings and been forced to migrate.

“The plaintiff has been experiencing trouble sleeping, along with extreme anxiety and depression. As a direct result of the irresponsible actions of the defendants, she was forced to relocate her house and suffer a decline in her mental health, both of which prevented her from being able to run her home-based business.

Even though she has received counseling, the actions of the defendants continue to cause her severe emotional distress.”

When the 53-year-old Emmy Award winner smashed her car into her neighbor’s Los Angeles home, causing it to catch fire, Lynne Bernstein, Mishele’s neighbor, told on August 7 that she was “very fortunate” to survive the tragedy unharmed. The incident occurred when Mishele smashed her car into her neighbor’s home, causing it to catch fire.

As was previously reported, the Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed that the crash caused “structural damage” and “significant fire” to the single-story residence.

Mishele Durand was described by her friends John and Jennifer Durand as “a sweet and helpful person” on the GoFundMe page that they set up one day after the accident to assist cover the cost of her lost belongings.

It took 59 firefighters and 65 minutes to put out the fire that was sparked by the crash, as stated on the GoFundMe website; this information is also stated in the legal complaint that Mishele filed.

When Heche was involved in the car accident, she was operating a Mini Cooper at the time of the incident. As a result of the fire, Heche had to be taken to the hospital and placed on a ventilator.

She never regained consciousness after that. Accident was ultimately determined to be the cause of her passing.

On the same day, the Los Angeles Police Department provided confirmation that they would no longer be investigating the crash.

Mishele expressed her “love” to Heche’s family and said that the news of the actress’s passing was “devastating.”

Mishele’s Creative Organization shared a video on its Instagram account in which she expressed her condolences to Heche’s family, focusing specifically on Heche’s children.

In the recording, she can be heard saying, “This whole thing is horrific, and there really are no words that can express it.”
