It was a life-changing event for 13-year-old Alfie Patten when he was named Britain’s youngest father in international headlines.
He and his family could hardly go anywhere without being recognized, and his parents were accused of being the “worst parents in the United Kingdom.”
But later, a DNA test revealed an astonishing reality.
Who is Alfie Patten?
Alfie Patten, a baby-faced kid from East Sussex, was said to have fathered a child with family acquaintance Chantelle Steadman in 2009.
In 2009, Chantelle Steadman gave birth to her daughter, Maisie Roxanne, in Eastbourne Hospital in East Sussex, near Alfie and Chantelle’s homeland.
Chantelle was 15 years old when the kid was conceived, and Alfie was just 12.

Alfie was convicted of criminal damage in 2019 after smashing up cars and property while inebriated, according to The Mirror newspaper. According to the newspaper, Alfie appeared before a court in the United Kingdom and “narrowly avoided jail.”
The prosecution claimed that cops interfered when Alfie kicked a vehicle, damaged a Skoda (car), and smashed a fence while inebriated.
She responded, “He was drunk, swearing, and being aggressive.”
Patten still lives at home with his mother, has no employment, and consumes alcohol on a daily basis, according to The Mirror.
