Jamie Lee Curtis reconnected with her friend and co-star on a recent red carpet appearance, and she had some harsh words for her.
Don’t worry, you didn’t miss any major brawls or drama at a recent high-profile event; Curtis merely had to tell I, Tonya star Allison Janney what she thought of her and her clothing.
In July, the Freaky Friday actor attended Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang’s inaugural Las Culturistas Awards in Los Angeles, when she ran into Janney.
Janney captured a video of the occasion and just uploaded it on Instagram.
Because Curtis is the ultimate hype-man, her reaction was not a jab at the actress but rather a play on Janney’s stunning appearance.

Janney recently posted some photos from the occasion, including one of Curtis seeing her dress and stating, “You can go f**k yourself,” before the two hugged.
She captioned her Instagram image, “What a delight to attend the @lasculturistas awards!
“Thank you, @fayedunaway and @mattrogerstho, and for my fave red carpet shoutout, @jamieleecurtis! I adore you! I’d also want to thank @sethmcfarlane for my fave animation shoutout.
“Don’t miss the Las Culturistas Culture Awards, airing August 5th on @BravoTV and online on @Peacock! #CultureAwards2025… Oh, and I want to thank my glam squad!”
Fortunately, the actress’ followers knew it was a prank and pumped up the occasion even more in the comments.
One person said, “Jamie Lee’s reaction to seeing Queen Janney’s entire dress was THE greatest answer! We’re all feeling the same way.
Another commented, “If you’re ever having a terrible day, @allisonbjanney, just come to this post and rewatch Jamie Lee Curtis’ reply to you! Or see a video of the smooth, leisurely catwalk in that attire! A genuine goddess.
With a third writing, “Omg, legs all the way up to the sky!!!” @jamieleecurtis, I’m taking this response!!”
Another simply stated, “Love seeing women supporting women.”

Curtis is no stranger to foul-mouthed outbursts towards her companions.
She recently spoke out against reports of a connection between Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson, defending the couple in a brief and pointed statement.
She stated, “With all due respect to pop culture, if love has found its way into that relationship, God bless them both!”
“Leave them alone.” And let them enjoy each other because they’ve been through a lot and are both gorgeous people—it makes me weep.”
