Brad Paisley and his wife Kimberly had an incredible home life with two sons and two dogs before their former house burned down in a Los Angeles fire…

The Hollywood pair enjoys family time through games and romantic nights. They also support a significant endeavor in their Nashville home, which acts as their own passion project.

Brad Paisley, a country music singer, and his wife, actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley, have a love story distinguished by a strong commitment to family and philanthropic causes.

The couple’s relationship began in 2001, when the artist asked his future wife to appear in the music video for his song “I’m Gonna Miss Her.” He had fallen in love with her years ago after witnessing her performance in the 1991 film “Father of the Bride.”

The pair later married in March 2003 and raised a family together, welcoming their first son, William, called Huck, in 2007 and their younger son, Jasper, in 2009.

Parenting their boys has been a gratifying experience, as Brad stated in an interview, “So far they’re pretty good,” while expressing delight in the young men his kids are becoming. The father of two emphasized the importance of raising children with humility and love. “You need to promote that. “Just encourage the positive behavior,” he said.

The Paisleys also adopt a deliberate approach to screen usage, limiting television only on weekends. “Otherwise, there’s just enough interesting things in the world to do during the week without turning on the TV much of the time,” Brad remarked, emphasizing their desire to instill curiosity and meaningful participation in their sons.

The house the couple chose for those special family times reflected their commitment to raising their children in a sensitive and supportive atmosphere.

Brad and Kimberly paid $1,644,000 for their first house, a 3,304-square-foot, four-bedroom, three-bathroom home in Los Angeles’ Pacific Palisades neighborhood. Originally built in 1925, the home underwent thorough modifications that added contemporary comfort while preserving its historic character.

Its prominent features were a small kitchen with stone floors and a comfortable breakfast nook, a detached garage with a bonus room above, and a stone patio with a vine-covered pergola. The home also boasts breathtaking views, making it an ideal hideaway.

The family’s stay in their first home was filled with amazing experiences, but their attachment to the house persisted long after they moved out. In September 2013, the Paisleys sold their Pacific Palisades property for $2.5 million.

Unfortunately, the horrific California wildfires that raced through the area in January 2025 destroyed the identical property.

As the fires burned, the musician expressed his anguish on social media, writing, “We lived in Pacific Palisades for years. It was the first home Kim and I purchased together.

Brad also talked about setting up their first nursery, attending birthing courses with pals Kevin Nealon and Susan Yeagley, and going on neighborhood walks to Gelson’s and Starbucks. Following the fires, he stated, “That beautiful old house burned last night.” So did the majority of that community. “Los Angeles has displaced, devastated, and cast out so many good people.”

While noting the magnitude of the disaster, he asked his followers to look for ways to help, saying, “Mostly, for now, I simply want to grieve the death of a town.” Recognize the beauty and recollections of what it was. It is all really awful and sad.”

Brad’s touching homage to his old California house exemplifies the unique significance that memorable settings have had in his family’s lives. Now situated in Nashville, the Paisleys have established a new sanctuary brimming with personal touches and artistic inspiration.

In an interview, Brad shared a glimpse of his home bar, which represents his personality and experiences. Among its notable features was an Air Force One glass, a prized memento from his time performing for troops in Afghanistan.

Brad mentioned that he frequently used the circular table in the bar’s sitting room for writing. Guitars on the walls underscored the room’s link to his talent and passion for music.

Brad used the bar as a creative place, but the pandemic in 2020 disrupted their routines. Only three socially distant drive-in shows could accommodate his normally hectic traveling schedule. Despite the difficulties, he continued to write and even produced a Zoom video for his tune “No I in Beer.”

Meanwhile, Kimberly experienced her own career difficulties, with filming opportunities for her placed on hold. Reflecting on their time together, her spouse quipped in a joint interview, “I figured out I really like being around you!”

The pair, who have two dogs, enjoyed family time by playing ping pong and dodgeball, as well as working on their Nashville organization, The Store, which offers free goods to those in need.

Brad and Kimberly had fostered a vision for the store for five years, making it more than just a community endeavor. Kimberly stated that at the conclusion of their first year, the group had already delivered almost 1.3 million meals to people in need, proving the importance of their commitment to assisting others.

In addition, the well-known mother of two began preparing bread, frequently making focaccia with Huck, and Brad once assisted her in coloring her hair. They also found time to reconnect as a couple, spending peaceful date evenings together while their boys slept with Brad’s parents, who were part of their quarantine bubble.
