Marvel star Elizabeth Olsen provided a rare glimpse into her relationship with her sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley.

The 36-year-old actor is likely the most well-known of the Olsen siblings, having played Wanda Maximoff in the MCU, His Three Daughters, and Candy Montgomery in the HBO miniseries Love & Death.

However, in the not-too-distant past, Elizabeth’s older sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley, 38, were the most renowned Olsens.

The twins rose to prominence after appearing in the US comedy Full House, and they went on to become worldwide recognized performers in several Adventures of Mary-Kate and Ashley spin-off series.

Mary-Kate and Ashley would eventually leave acting in the early 2000s, transitioning into the realm of high fashion with the debut of their company, The Row.

So, what’s it like growing up as a member of the Olsen family? We don’t know much because the sisters keep their personal lives secret, but Elizabeth did provide some insight on a recent edition of Today with Jenna & Friends.

The performer, who was one of six children, said she enjoyed her sibling dynamic. This was particularly true when she was an infant. “I thoroughly enjoyed it.”

She went on to say, “I also appreciate [Mary-Kate and Ashley’s] collaboration, and I do not compete with it in any way.” It’s different.”

In a 2022 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the Avengers actor revealed her excitement about having twin siblings, calling it a ‘benefit.’

“After seeing them, I had a clear idea of how I was going to handle various situations.” I also felt very protected,” she said. “I genuinely believe it’s a fantastic experience to be the younger sibling of twin sisters.

“If one indulged me, the other tried to follow suit. “I loved it.”

As for the twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley gave Vogue a very rare update on their lives in September 2024, informing them that having a store for their fashion line was their ambition. “We’ve been looking for years,” Ashley explained.

Virtually little is known about the twins’ personal lives. Mary-Kate was previously married to Olivier Sarkozy, which resulted in divorce in 2021, and Ashley has been married to Louis Eisner since 2022, with the couple expecting their first child together in August 2023.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth has a hectic schedule as an actor, with future movies such as Marvel Zombies, Eternity, and Panic Carefully.
