Gwyneth Paltrow pledges that ‘no one will ever see her again’ if she retires from acting

Many of us, like Gwyneth Paltrow, fantasize of abandoning our day jobs.

Despite being only 51 years old, the actress is already planning her retirement and assures that ‘no one will ever see her again’ when she retires.

This isn’t the only significant adjustment the Oscar winner wishes to make.

Paltrow launched Goop in 2008 and has earned a startling amount of wealth from her health brand and its several offshoots.

While most of us scoffed at the famed vaginally-inserted jade egg and bio-frequency stickers, the company was estimated to be worth $250 million in 2019.

Paltrow has also made a fortune through her acting career, earning $10 million for her role in View From the Top alone.

Despite this, she intends to leave behind her two prosperous occupations.

“I will literally disappear from public life,” the Oscar winner said in a recent interview with Bustle. Nobody ever sees me again.”

As she nears retirement, the star will hide from the spotlight before selling her brand in a “few more years.”

When asked if she would consider selling the lifestyle brand before turning 55, she replied, “I’d be happy with that.”

“[I love] creating, collaborating, being struck with new ideas, innovating, thinking ahead, strategy, vision, that sort of thing,” she continued.

“Money has never been my strong suit. It’s never been my driving force.”

It’s easy to say when you have a lot of it.

Her intentions appear to have been in the works for quite some time, given that her most recent Marvel appearance was in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.

In fact, the actress is so focused on her acting profession that she reportedly admitted to using her Academy Award as a doorstopper.

The company owner is recorded frolicking in her yard with the highly sought-after statue propping up the enormous green gate behind her in Vogue’s 73 Questions series.

“It works perfectly,” Paltrow remarked, in a toe-curlingly awkward moment that had viewers wondering whether she was attempting to be grounded.

She had to be reminded that she had been in Spider-Man: Homecoming during another embarrassing moment on The Chef Show.

The actor, who appeared in the Netflix series with Marvel great Jon Favreau and chef Roy Choi, nervously questioned if he’d been in the successful picture.

She stated flatly, “We weren’t in Spider-Man.”

“Yes, we were,” Favreau said. “You played Spider-Man.”

Clearly, appearing in blockbusters isn’t all that memorable, so Gwyneth may want to leave it all behind.
