He’s only four, but this young cowboy has one wish. What his family did next became a Parker McCollum fantasy that the internet cannot stop talking about…

The party included tons of gold chains and even a Parker McCollum-themed singing session.

Anyone who believes they’re Parker McCollum’s greatest fan may have just been outdone by four-year-old Jaxon, who celebrated his most recent birthday with a Gold Chain Cowboy-themed party.

Dianne shared a video of the adorable celebration on TikTok, which quickly garnered nearly 80k views. The video depicted Jaxon, also known as Jax, standing in front of a giant banner featuring an enlarged image of McCollum’s 2021 major label debut album, Gold Chain Cowboy, with a dazzling gold chain balloon dangling slightly above.

Wearing a button-up shirt, a black baseball cap, and, of course, a gold chain around his neck, the small kid strummed away on the miniature black guitar, boldly shouting out the chorus of “What Kinda Man” into a gold microphone.

After watching the smart birthday theme gather steam on social media, we spoke with Jax’s mother, Lana, to hear more about their plan to channel the Texas country music sensation.

“For months, he insisted on having a Parker McCollum-themed birthday party. I selected the Gold Chain Cowboy motif since Jax adored Parker’s debut album.

Along with Jax treating his guests to a karaoke session that featured hours of the young fan singing some of his favorite Parker McCollum songs, the party also offered a Parker McCollum cake, as well as BBQ and brownies, because those were the foods that came up when Lana searched online for McCollum’s “favorite food.” In addition, attendees received gold chains as party gifts, allowing everyone to channel the “Handle On You” singer.

Lana asserts that Jax insisted on all gifts being associated with his favorite country musician. It appears that his request was accomplished, as he received two gold chains, a gold microphone, a microphone stand, white shirts to fit McCollum’s regular appearance, posters, new boots, a Parker McCollum cap, and a black guitar, to mention a few.

“He enjoys watching Parker McCollum’s music videos and is very detail-oriented, so he knows exactly what Parker wears in his videos! He also asked for a ‘torn and burned-up shirt like Parker wears in Burn It Down.’ This was presented to him by his preschool instructor! She also gave him a replica of the red Fresh Western hat, which he wore nonstop for days.

While Parker McCollum was unable to attend the celebration, Jax’s mother ensured that her son felt special on his big day.

“I did order him the new Parker McCollum CD with the signed paper in it, and it was addressed to Jaxon Williford from Parker McCollum, so as far as he knows, Parker sent him a birthday present because he couldn’t make it to his party,” she told me.

The celebration based on the Gold Chain Cowboy project was a great full-circle event, as Jax’s adoration for the hitmaker began when he was just a year old, listening to this collection in the vehicle with his father. That passion has never waned. Lana reports that leading up to the release of his brand new, self-titled CD, Jax would listen to the tunes on his way to daycare and had them memorized within a week of the following song.

After memorizing so many songs, Jax now likes presenting daily concerts in their house and has even piqued his 2-year-old sister’s interest in music. His current favorite Parker McCollum songs are “Burn It Down,” “What Kinda Man,” “To Be Loved by You,” and “Sunny Days.”

Jaxson has never seen Parker McCollum live, but Lana has disclosed that they want to take him to McCollum’s tour stop in Woodlands, Texas, on September 6. This will be Jax’s first country concert, and it promises to be a memorable experience.
