It’s incredible how couple turns old cistern into house that later covers magazines

The young family purchased an ancient cistern to address their housing issue. The couple put their last remaining funds into it, which very unsurprisingly drew ire from their friends. The ancient silo, however, was converted into a fashion house that was featured on the cover of a design magazine in just a year. A married couple acquired a silo tower in 1955.

She was transported to the location and started getting ready for the conversion into a genuine house. The family’s patriarch is an accomplished architect, so he saw the scale of the project right away.

To reflect the sun’s rays, the corrugated steel plate was kept but painted white. The main entry was created as a sliding door, and round windows were made to order. The home is barely 31 square meters in size overall.

Everything matched up thanks to a skillful strategy: the kitchen, bathroom, and cupboards are placed in a circle, and the interior space is domestic. The bedroom is on the second level, and the furniture is also included in the decor. The original proposal was swiftly chosen for a design competition and eventually took first place.

Here is a little video tour of the home: The price of constructing the house has not been made public. However, it’s unlikely to cost more than a typical apartment in a decent location.
