Jessica Alba, the star of Honey, has stated that she and her spouse of over 20 years have broken up.
There have been several claims in recent days that Alba and film director Cash Warren separated after their 2008 marriage.
The celebrity couple has three children together: Honor, 16; Haven, 13; and Hayes, 7.
They met on the set of Fantastic Four in 2004 and dated for four years before getting married.
Alba played Sue Storm in the film, and Warren was director Tim Story’s assistant.
Alba and Warren have kept quiet about their relationship since their breakup until recently.
Alba said on Instagram yesterday (January 17) that she has been on a ‘road to self-realization’ in recent years.
In a tweet she simply captioned with a white love emoji, the 43-year-old wrote to her 20 million followers: “I’ve been on a road of self-realization and growth for years—both as an individual and in collaboration with Cash. I’m pleased with how far we’ve come as a couple and in our marriage over the previous two decades, and it’s time for us to begin on a new chapter of personal growth and evolution.”

Alba’s heartfelt message continued: “We are going on with love, kindness, and respect for each other, and we will always be family.
Our children remain our top concern, and we respectfully seek privacy at this time.
The mother of three has shut off comments on the post.
In May 2024, during the 16th anniversary of the former couple’s marriage, Alba expressed her pride in Warren, stating that they had come this far.
“We’ve celebrated 16 years of marriage, 20 years together, and we’re still going strong,” she wrote in an email.
“I’m proud of us for getting this far. No rules or guidelines can prepare you for committing to someone and becoming family.”
Alba said at the time, “Through thick and thin, we’ve always found our way back to each other and chosen one another.
“Cheers to us; I love you.”
While Alba and Warren’s breakup appears to be definitive, Warren previously disclosed that they had split before marrying and eventually restored their relationship.
Warren stated on the Whine Down with Jana Kramer podcast in 2023: “When we initially started dating, I was really envious of other people and the attention she was receiving from them.
“It just didn’t make me feel good. I was always quite confident in my own life, following my own path and feeling quite happy.
He was constantly feeling envious, so they decided to end their relationship.
It’s unknown how long they were apart before getting back together.
