When you think you’re good at something, do you realize true experts can outperform you?
It may be a home-cooked dinner that you post on Instagram or adding a new weight to your gym set; all it takes is a brief trip to a lovely restaurant or a peek at some of the weightlifting champions to realize you’re just another normal Joe.
There is nothing wrong with it, but it can be pretty humbling.

One incident that perfectly exemplifies this occurred at a school during a sports day event for students, which featured a race in which parents could participate.
Races like these are normally simply for fun, but there are always one or two people who let their competitive nature take over.
However, regardless of how competitive the race was, there could only be one winner.
The trouble is that one of the contestants happened to have won many Olympic medals in that particular sport.
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is a Jamaican track and field athlete who has won three Olympic gold medals, four silver medals, and ten world championship championships.

She is the mother of a child named Zyon, and she competes in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relays.
Shelly-Ann, like many other parents, went up to the starting line at her son’s school’s sports day, but unlike the other parents, she swiftly seized the lead and never looked back.
Footage from the race, originally captured by Instagram user Amelia Gordon, shows Shelly-Ann cruising down the 100-meter track, putting a significant margin between herself and her nearest rival.
The Olympian subsequently rushed to Facebook to share a photo of her medal from the event, saying, “I feel like I’ve been waiting all my life for this moment.”
Shelly-Ann went on to say that she had ‘no intention’ of competing in the race, but she soon realized she needed to stand up to bring home the gold for her family.
“As an Olympian, it just didn’t make sense for us to leave without bringing home a single piece of gold, so I decided to race,” she recalled.
“We ended up getting two bronze medals, an overall 4th place, a participation medal, and a first place medal in the women’s parent race to redeem the Pryce family name.”
Shelly-Ann went on to say that she was “so proud” of her child, and viewers couldn’t stop laughing over her participation in the event.
“We should have given them a 20-meter head start.” Just to keep things interesting, “Lol,” one spectator said.
Even if the other parents don’t win the race against Shelly-Ann, they’ll always remember the experience!
