Alisyn Camerota, a CNN journalist and political analyst, said that Tim Lewis died on July 27, two months before their 23rd wedding anniversary. He was 58 years old.
Camerota, 58, died “two years after being diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer,” she posted on Instagram on Friday, Sept. 20.
The television journalist concluded, “I can’t imagine someone going through a horrible illness with more humor, humility, and fortitude than Tim.

Camerota said that she, her twin children, Ale and Cessa, and her son, Nate, are “still getting our bearings. “Tim gave us a lot of strength and stability, and we’re committed to attempting to duplicate those attributes.”
“Tim devoted much of his life to giving back to his community and trying to make life easier for the people around him,” the Amanda Wakes Up author wrote. “To that aim, we’ve established a fund in his memory to assist other families going through a similar difficulty. I would be pleased if you would consider donating,” she said, offering a link to the Tim Lewis Foundation to Fight Cancer online fundraiser sponsored by CharityVest.
“This month would have marked our 23rd wedding anniversary.” Camerota posted on Instagram, “I feel incredibly lucky to have had such a deep, committed, loving partnership for the time we had.” The couple married in September 2001.
