SRO dances at high school to say goodbye!

Officer Ryan Tillman, a respected school resource officer at Don Lugo High School in California, had a unique method of saying farewell to the children.

After forging strong bonds with his coworkers, Tillman received a promotion to Chino Police Corporal.

Instead of a traditional farewell, he picked something more memorable.

Officer Tillman collaborated with the school’s administration and dance squad to present a surprise dance display during an assembly.

In an interview with NBC Los Angeles, he discussed his decision,

“I wanted to make a big exit, so I thought what better way than dancing?”

He left a lasting impact by creating a pleasant and memorable experience rather than simply saying goodbye.

Tillman joined the dancers on stage during the assembly, adding to the enthusiasm in the gym. They opened their performance with Lil Mama’s song “Lip Gloss.

Officer Tillman demonstrated his skills outside law enforcement by dancing in front of high school students.

The pupils shouted enthusiastically as he demonstrated his dance talents.

Another school resource officer complimented him, saying:

“As an SRO myself, I could never get up and dance in front of everyone. Kudos for doing it!” ⁢ Many individuals do not understand how SROs must balance their jobs with young people.

But it was not all!

When MC Hammer’s “U Can’t Touch ‍This” played, Tillman stunned the audience with iconic 90s maneuvers.

He nailed MC Hammer’s shuffle, eliciting even louder shouts from the audience!

He kept the audience entertained with various songs and routines while dressed in his full police costume.

One viewer described it very nicely: ⁢ “This is fantastic! “We need more of it.”

Officer Tillman’s performance was not only entertaining but also demonstrated his desire to develop positive ties among the community.
