The couple had three sets of twins in less than five years, but there’s something crazier in this story…

When an old family friend asked Carrie and Craig Kosinski if they could look after her infant twins, they replied, “Yes.”

Carrie and Craig volunteered to take the lovely girls into custody on a trial basis.

But days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months, and the girls were soon a permanent part of the family.

Carrie and Craig had always wanted to have children, but they had no clue how their journey would unfold.

Adalynn and Kenna were born on February 28, 2014. The twins were born through an emergency C-section, and the Kosinkis were granted formal guardianship of the children at the age of three months.

After a few years of parenting their adopted twins, Carrie and Craig received a phone call from their original mother, who informed them that she was dealing with another tragic circumstance.

She was dealing with serious issues in her life and was striving to make everything work. She asked the couple if they would be prepared to adopt her two younger children, Cece and J.J., who are two years old.

Kenna and Adalynn’s biological brother and sister were the younger twins.

Carrie and Craig, from Union Grove, Wisconsin, had to consider their options carefully.

The couple had several failed pregnancy attempts while going through the adoption procedure with Kenna and Adalynn.

They had no idea what was wrong for a long time and decided to consult a doctor, who provided some devastating news.

Her doctor informed Carrie that because she had severe endometriosis, she was unable to conceive naturally. Having biological children was therefore out of the question, which is why they turned to adoption in the first place.

“It was a difficult decision to make. We were both attempting to conceive. “But they were siblings, so that was definitely a consideration for us—we wanted to keep the siblings together,” Carrie told The Journal Times.

Carrie and Craig, however, set aside their own reservations and assured the mother that they would be delighted to adopt the younger twins.

Carrie felt odd a few weeks after welcoming Cece and J.J. into the family and recognized she wanted to see a doctor.

An ultrasound in September 2015 indicated that Carrie was pregnant. In fact, there were two fetuses on the screen! She and Craig would be expecting their third set of twins in five years!

“We were in shock, but super happy,” Carrie Kosinski told Today.

Although they were initially overwhelmed, Craig and Carrie recognized their pregnancy as a gift from a higher power. The parents resolved to do all that was possible to ensure that all six children grew up in a secure and loving home.

But fate was about to pay the family another visit, and their physicians couldn’t believe what had transpired.

Karraline and Clarissa, biological twins, were born on February 28th, the same day as the other two pairs of twins!

“We were taken aback. ‘Oh my God, we’re going to have three sets of twins,’ we thought. “What are we going to do with ourselves?” remembered Carrie.

The fact that all of Carrie and Craig’s children have the same birthday was a strong indication to the appreciative parents that this was predestined.

According to Carrie, “God obviously has a sense of humor.”

During week 25 of her pregnancy, Carrie gave birth to Karraline and Clarissa via in vitro fertilization. Their biological twins, however, had to spend months in neonatal critical care. Karraline and Clarissa, on the other hand, were robust and strong when they were ultimately permitted to return home.

Having three sets of twins in one house is obviously expensive, but many individuals in the neighboring community have contributed financial assistance.

Kind people from all around the country supplied the family with money to meet their mounting bills and expensive charges through fundraising platforms like GoFundMe and AdoptTogether.

“I have to be very organized and keep to a schedule, or things get out of hand,” Carrie adds.

Craig and Carrie believe that because all six of their children were born on the same day—Cece and J.J. on February 28, 2013; Adalynn and Kenna on February 28, 2014; and Karraline and Clarissa on February 28, 2016—someone up there had a particular plan for their family.

“We believe that because God adopted us into His family, we were meant to adopt these children into our family,” Carrie explained. “It’s a huge blessing for us. We adore all of our children equally. We wouldn’t trade our lives for anything.”

Today, this family is having a good time, and seeing all of their lovely children grow up must be a gift for Carrie and Craig.

“They’re all rather distinct. Everyone has their own personality, which is great fun, but we get pulled in six different directions,” Carrie said to Today.

Thank you very much to Craig and Carrie for their generous hearts. It’s incredible that they’re caring for four children as if they were their own.

In some ways, it appears that the couple received their just reward because they also got to have their own biological children.
